Eric W. Atkins

A man with glasses and gray hair, dressed in a navy suit and white shirt, is gesturing with his hands and smiling outdoors near a building with white columns.

I’m Eric Atkins, the founder of IronRoots Leadership. I’ve spent more than two decades helping people grow—first in the classroom, then in corporate talent development, and now as a leadership coach and consultant. I’m a CPTD (Certified Professional in Talent Development), a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, and a Wiley Everything DiSC® Certified Facilitator. My work is built on one simple idea: leaders don’t need more noise. They need clarity, direction, and someone who will challenge them while staying firmly in their corner.

My wife, Kathryn, is a elementary school teacher and unbelievable partner, and my son Turner is a swimmer, a burgeoning YouTuber, and one of the best kids you’ll ever meet (I might be biased). Our energetic Brittany, Bogey, rounds out our household, which is never quiet!
